• The latest carbon budget has been released from the Global Carbon Project on 3 December 2012. It includes the latest trends in global and regional carbon dioxide emissions and sinks, and analysis of how these trends relate to keeping global temperatures below 2C. The GCP webpage provides all the background information, and links to the supporting papers, datasets and a ppt presentation.
• The European Commission invited Antonio Bombelli to present GEOCARBON and GEO CL-O2 activities at the EU Side Event during the GEO Plenary (Brazil, 22-23 November). Link to the presentation.
